# Reset a forgotten password

Reset your password when you cannot remember the password for your Bundus account.

> **Important:** Use the full reset link from the email. A reset page opened without its secure link cannot update your password.

### Request the reset email

1. Open **Sign in**.
2. Select **Forgot password?**.
3. Enter your account email.
4. Select **Send reset request**.

Bundus shows **Reset email sent**. For security, the confirmation does not disclose whether an account exists for the address. The request button is temporarily unavailable before another email can be requested.

### Choose a new password

1. Open the reset email from Bundus.
2. Select the secure reset link.
3. Enter a **New password** with at least eight characters.
4. Enter the same password under **Confirm password**.
5. Select **Reset password**.

Bundus shows **Password updated** and returns you to **Sign in**.

### Check the result

Sign in with the new password. The old password no longer provides access.
